BAN was started in 2023 as a grassroots organization with the goal of bridging what many see as a communication breakdown between elected officials and the constituents they represent.

As such, the primary mission of BAN is to facilitate an open exchange of information between voters and elected officials by asking questions voters want answered instead of just the questions that elected officials want to answer.
